Preparation / Directions:Brown ground beef, onion, bell pepper, jalapeno pepper, and garlic. Drain off fat. Mix corn meal, eggs, salt, baking soda, corn, and milk.
Pour half of corn meal mixture into a hot iron skillet with a small amount of oil. Spread meat mixture on top of corn meal mixture, and top with remaining corn meal mixture. Bake in 325 degree oven for 1 hour.
