Apple Maple Chicken Sausage and Apples Omelet

Ingredients:


1 package al fresco Apple Maple Breakfast Chicken Sausage, sliced into small pieces

1/2 medium apple, peeled and grated

1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 large eggs

4 tablespoons water

2 teaspoon canola oil

1 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste
 

Preparation / Directions:


Saute sliced sausage and shredded apple in 1 tsp of oil for about 5 minutes over medium heat. Beat eggs and water until blended. Heat 1 tsp of oil in pan until hot. Pour in egg mixture. Mixture should set at edges - tilt pan and move as necessary. Continue cooking until egg is set and will not flow. Fill omelet with sauteed sausage and apple mixture and add cheese. Fold in half and invert on plate and serve.
