Creole Rice

Ingredients:


4 cups water

1 teaspoon salt to taste

1 cup converted rice

1 tablespoon butter

1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper to taste

1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

2 tablespoons lemon juice
 

Preparation / Directions:


Bring water to a boil in a saucepan and add salt. Add rice and stir well. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain rice in a colander and return to saucepan. Add butter, pepper, Tabasco sauce and lemon juice, and blend mixture well.
