Creole Pecan Pie

Ingredients:


3 large eggs

1 cup brown sugar -- dark, packed

1 cup corn syrup -- dark

1 cup pecans -- broken

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 crust pie shell -- 9 inch, unbaked
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Beat eggs and sugar together until thick. 2. Add corn syrup, pecans, vanilla and salt. 3. Mix well and pour into pie shell. 4. Bake in preheated 300F oven about 1 hour, or until filling is firm.
