Preparation / Directions:
Melt brown sugar and butter in a chafing dish or skillet, stirring often.
Add bananas and sauté just until soft. (DON'T OVERCOOK.) Heat rum and banana liqueur in a small saucepan.
Pour over bananas, but DO NOT STIR into liquid.
CAREFULLY light liquor in chafing dish and keep spooning sauce over bananas until flames die. Scoop ice cream into 4 large dessert dishes (large brandy snifters look beautiful if for company).
Spoon bananas and sauce over and serve immediately. From Michelle Bass Serves
