BANANA CAKE

Ingredients:


1/2 Cup butter or margarine

1 Cup sugar

2 large eggs

1 Cup bananas mashed, very-ripe

1/2 Cup sour cream or yougurt

2 1/4 Cup flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 teaspoon salt
 

Preparation / Directions:


Cream the shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add bananas and sour cream or yogurt. Sift remaining ingredients together to make batter. Butter and flour a 9-inch tube pan. Pour in batter. Bake at 350 degree until golden brown, about 50 minutes. Cool for five minutes. Turn on rack.
