Preparation / Directions:
Preheat oven at 350. Prepare 9 x 13" pan with cooking spray and flour. To
prepare batter, combine cake mix and baking powder in a mixing bowl. In
another mixing bowl, combine oil, almond extract, cherry pie filling, and
egg whites. Mix dry ingredients with dry ingredients just until moistened.
Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Meanwhile, to prepare
topping, combine sugar, margarine and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil,
stirring constantly, and boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and add chocolate
chips. Stir until melted. Pour over cooled cake and spread.
