Chocolate Sour Cream Cake

Ingredients:


1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 3/4 cups sugar

3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2/3 cup butter or margarine -- softened

1 1/2 cups dairy sour cream

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 recipe frosting of your choice
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt in large mixing bowl. 2. Blend in butter, sour cream, eggs and vanilla, beating on low speed; beat 3 minutes on medium speed. 3. Pour batter into greased, floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan; bake in preheated 350 F. oven 35 to 40 minutes, or until cake tester comes out clean. 4. Cool completely; frost if desired.
