Preparation / Directions:Preheat oven to 350.
Cream together 1/2 of the butter, the oil, and the sugar; beat in the egg. Add the buttermilk and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. Stir in 2 tablespoons of the cocoa, the flour, baking soda, cloves, cinnamon, and the salt. Fold in zucchini, chocolate chips, and walnuts. Pour into well--greased 9 in. round cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a rack and cool completely.
To make frosting: Beat the remaining 1/2 stick of butter, cream cheese, confectioners sugar, the 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and 1 tablespoon cocoa. Frost the cake when cool.
