Preparation / Directions:Sift flour and baking powder 3 times. Cream sugar and butter thoroughly, add flavoring, then flour and milk alternately. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in two large layer cake tins in a moderate oven (375 F) 20 to 25 minutes. Spread with Caramel filling.
