Preparation / Directions:Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together three times. Add remaining ingredients in order. Beat thoroughly 2 minutes. Bake in two greased layer cake tins (9 inches in diameter) in a moderate oven (about 360 F.) 20 to 25 minutes. Spread orange filling between layers. Sprinkle top with powdered sugar or spread with cooked white icing.
