Preparation / Directions:Cream butter and sugar. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and add alternately with water. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and flavoring. Bake in three 9- inch layer cake tins in a moderately hot oven (about 375 F) 15-20 minutes. Put layers together with a boiled icing to which a dozen white marshmallows have been added.
