Preparation / Directions:Butter 9" square pan. Sift together flour, baking soda, slt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, mustard and pepper. Set aside. Cream butter. Add sugar and beat for 2 min. Beat in eggs 1 at a time. Add molasses;beat till smooth. Dissolev coffee in boiling water and add, alternately, with flour mixture. Beat just till smooth. Mixture will eb very thin. Pour into prepared pan and abke at 375 for 35 min. or till done.
