Raspberry Cake - Sharing Our Finest

Ingredients:


1/4 cup butter

2 tablespoons sugar

2 large eggs -- beaten

1/4 teaspoon salt

4 teaspoons baking powder

1 cup milk

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 quart raspberries
 

Preparation / Directions:


Put raspberries on top of batter in a greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. As soon as cake is out of oven, put on the following mixture. Topping: 1/2 cup butter (1 stick) 2 cups powdered sugar Mix and make into crumbles. Put on hot cake as crumbles, this will melt a little. Enjoy with ice cream Delicious served warm! Note: This is the favorite cake of my family, it is the first recipe I make when getting fresh raspberries in the summer or fall. I
