Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Ingredients:


2 tablespoons butter

1 cup sugar

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups cake flour

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 pint sour cream

---TOPPING---

3/4 cup light brown sugar -- packed

3/4 cup nuts -- chopped

2 tablespoons butter -- softened

4 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, beating with each addition, then vanilla. 2. Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with sour cream to creamed mixture. 3. Pour half of batter into greased 9 x 12-inch pan; sprinkle with 1/2 of topping. 4. Pour and spread remaining batter; sprinkle with remaining topping. 5. Bake in preheated 350 F. oven 30 minutes. Topping Rub together all ingredients.
