Ingredients:


1 cup flour

3/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 piece spout funnel 1/2 inch

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 large egg

1/2 Cup powdered sugar
 

Preparation / Directions:


30 minutes before serving, heat 3/4" salad oil in a 12" skillet to 370 degrees. Mix flour, milk, baking powder, salt and egg with a fork. Hold funnel closed with finger. Pour 1/4 c batter into the funnel. Over hot oil, remove finger and let the batter run out while making a 6" spiral. Fry 6-8 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. Drain well on paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and/or pie filling.
