Cabbage Noodle Casserole

Ingredients:


8 ounces wide noodles

1 medium cabbage

1 teaspoon caraway seeds

1 package velveeta cheese

1 1/2 cups milk

2 cans mushrooms -- drained

1 teaspoon salt and pepper -- to taste
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Prepare noodles according to directions and drain. 2.Shred cabbage into 1-inch wide slices. Cook about 7 minutes or until partially done in salted water. 3.In oiled casserole dish, alternate layers noodles, cabbage, caraway seeds, and mushrooms. Repeat layers until cabbage and noodles are used. 4.Cover cabbage and noodles with cheese which has been melted in a little milk. Season to taste. 5.Bake 30-40 minutes at 375 degrees.
