Egg and Ham Casserole A La Linda

Ingredients:


6 slices lightly toasted bread -- cubed

1 cup cubed cooked ham

6 slices American and swiss cheese

4 large eggs -- lightly beaten

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon spices and herbs of choice
 

Preparation / Directions:


Layer in the bottom of a baking dish: bread, ham and cheese. To beaten eggs add milk and salt, pepper, spices to taste. Pour over the other ingredients and cover. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes in a moderate oven until lightly browned on top. Let stand for a few minutes after it comes out of the oven, or the first spoonful will be runny.
