EASTERN STAR CHILI (MINNESOTA)

Ingredients:


1 2/3 pound Coarse ground chuck

1 1/3 Cup Chopped onion

1 tablespoons Salt

1/2 tablespoons Pepper

4 Cup Chopped celery, precooked a

22 ounces Tomatoes -- chopped

22 ounces Kidney beans

8 ounces Tomato soup

2 tablespoons Brown sugar

2 1/2 tablespoons Chili powder
 

Preparation / Directions:


Brown ground chuck and onions in a large pot. Add all other ingredients. Cover and simmer for about 1 hour. Makes 1 gallon. Note: I suggest you cut down on the sugar and celery. From: Mary Lou Elliott, Diamond City, AR, 1991 Typed for you by Marjorie Scofield 9/27/94
