SHANGHAI Pork Stew

Ingredients:


1 pound boneless pork cut into 1 inch cubes

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel

2 tablespoons corn starch

1/3 cup water

1 can beef broth

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup sliced carrots

1 cup red and green peppers cut in strips
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. In 3-qt. microwave-safe casserole, combine pork, garlic and orange peel. Cover and microwave on high 7 minutes, stirring once during cooking. Drain. 2. Stir cornstarch and water until smooth. Add to pork mixture along with remaing ingredients. Cover and microwave on high 9 minutes stirring once during cooking. SERVE WITH RICE OR NOODLES
