Preparation / Directions:Method: Melt butter in large saucepan; add celery and onions. Saut‚ until onions have softened, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle in flour and summer savory or thyme , stir until blended. Slowly stir in reserved claim liquid; add potatoes, water, celery salt, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Add clams, milk and evap. skim milk. Heat to below simmer. DO NO BOIL. Garnish with the parsley.
