Crock-Pot Apple Cobbler

Ingredients:


1 cup oil

4 medium tart apples

1/2 cup sugar

1 medium grated rind and juice of 1 lemon

1 dash cinnamon

5 tablespoons butter

3/4 cup natural cereal with nuts and fruits
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Grease side of 3 1/2 quart Crock-Pot lightly with oil.

2. Core, peel and slice apples; place in Crock-Pot.

3. Add sugar, lemon rind, lemon juice and cinnamon.

4. Combine butter and cereal. Add to Crock-Pot; mix thoroughly.

5. Cover. Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours or High for 2 to 3 hours.

6. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping, if desired.
