Ingredients:


4 gallons tomatoes

1 quart vinegar

1 pint white sugar

4 large onions

1/2 ounce whole cloves

1/2 ounce allspice

1/2 ounce cayenne pepper or

4 small peppers

1 teaspoon white pepper
 

Preparation / Directions:


Boil tomatoes and onions and run through colander. Tie whole spices in bag and put all together, boil 3 1/2 hours until reduced to half. If you are going to can this I would assume you would use whatever method you use for this type of food item.
