Hot Wine Cranberry Punch

Ingredients:


1 pint cranberry juice cocktail

1 cup water

3/4 cup sugar

2 pieces cinnamon sticks

6 whole cloves

1 bottle burgundy wine - 4/5-qt.

1 medium lemon -- thin slices unpeeled
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine ingredients in slow-cooking pot. Heat on low for 1 to 2 hours. Strain and serve hot. May be kept hot and served from slow-cooking pot set on lowest setting. Serving Ideas : Serve goulash over noodles or rice.
