Pepper Steak In The Pot

Ingredients:


1 1/2 pounds round steak -- cut in bits

1 teaspoon salt and pepper -- to taste

1 tablespoons flour

2 tablespoons oil

1 medium onion -- sliced

1 clove garlic -- minced

1 can italian-style tomato soup

1 cup water

1 tablespoon lemon juice

3 medium green peppers -- diced
 

Preparation / Directions:


Season the meat with salt and pepper and dust with flour. Heat oil in a skillet and brown the meat. Alternate layers of meat, peppers, and onions in the crockpot. Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over the meat. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours.
