Ingredients:


1 3/4 Cups light brown sugar -- divided

1 Cup flour

1/4 Cup plus 3 tbs cocoa powder

2 Teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 Cup milk

2 tablespoons butter -- melted

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 3/4 Cups hot water

1/4 Cup blanched sliced almonds (optional)

1 quart Vanilla Ice cream
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Stir together 1 cup of brown sugar, flour, 3 tbs cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Whisk in the milk, melted butter and vanilla. Spread over bottom of a 3 1/2 qt. cooker. 2.Mix remaining 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa powdre and almonds. Sprinkle evenly over top of the batter but so not stir. 3. Cover and cook until a toothpick inserted in center, comes out clean. About 2 hrs. on HIGH NOTE: Do not cook on low for a longer period of time. It doesn't work. Spoon the warm pudding into individual bowls serve with scoops of vanilla ice cream on to
