Garbanzos And Couscous

Ingredients:


1 Small Onion -- chopped

3 Medium Carrots -- chopped

14 1/2 Ounces Tomatoes, Canned -- diced

15 Ounces Garbanzo Beans, Canned

1 Cup Chicken Broth -- reduced sodium

3 Cloves Garlic -- minced

1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg

1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon

1 Teaspoon Cumin

1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric

1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne

1 1/2 Cup Couscous, Cooked
 

Preparation / Directions:


Throw everything in the pot and mix it up. (no couscous though]. Cover; cook on low 8-10 hours {High:3-4 hours}. Add cooked couscous during last 15 minutes of cooking. 6 to 8 servings.
