Italian Beef Roast

Ingredients:


3 pounds chuck roast -- up to 4

1/2 package dry onion soup mix

1 package dry Italian Dressing mix

1 can chopped green chilies
 

Preparation / Directions:


Put the roast in the crockpot, sprinkle with soup mix and dressing mix. Dump the chilies on top. DO NOT ADD WATER. Cover and cook on low for 8 hrs. I then shredded the meat, into big strands, and kept it in a separate bowl. The kids LOVED the plain meat. I thickened the sauce with flour and water, and served the meat and sauce over egg noodles.
