Slow-Simmered Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients:


2 cloves garlic -- minced

1 large onion -- chopped

4 cans italian style tomatoes -- undrained and chopped (14.5 oz.)

1 can tomato sauce -- (15 oz.)

1 can tomato paste -- (12 oz)

2 teaspoons dried basil -- up to 3

2 teaspoons dried oregano -- up to 3

1/2 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine all ingredients in a 4 quart slow cooker. Cook, covered, on HIGH 6 hours. Serve over spaghetti, chicken, or pork. Makes 2 1/2 quarts.
