Rum Balls

Ingredients:


6 ounces chocolate chips

3 tablespoons light corn syrup

1/4 cup light rum -- (or bourbon)

1/2 cup sugar

1 1/4 cups crushed vanilla wafers -- (about 36)

1 cup finely chopped pecans

1 Cup powdered sugar
 

Preparation / Directions:


Melt chocolate chips; stir in syrup, rum and sugar. Continue stirring about 2 minutes over low heat. Stir in wafer crumbs and pecans. Cool slightly. Roll into small balls. Roll in powdered sugar. Cover and chill.
