Slow Cooker Baked Apples

Ingredients:


8 medium apples

1/3 cup raisins

1/3 cup chopped pecans

1/3 cup brown sugar -- packed

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

2 tablespoons margarine

1/2 cup apple cider

1 tablespoon lemon juice
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine raisins, pecans, and brown sugar. Peel top 1/3 of apples. Remove and discard cores. Fill cavities with the raisin/pecan mixture. Place in crockpot. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg; dot with margarine. Add cider and lemon juice. Cook on low for 8 hours to overnight.
