Preparation / Directions:Prepare in advance 9" pie crust - bake and cool.
In saucepan mix flour, sugar and salt. Gradually add scalded milk. Cook on low until mixture is thick. In a small bowl slightly beat egg yolks. Add a small amount of the hot mixture to the egg yolks, then slowly stir yolks into remaining hot mixture and cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes. Add butter, vanilla and pineapple. Pour into cooled, baked pie shell and cover with meringue.
Bake 350 for 10 Minutes. Refrigerate until cold.
