Tex-Mex Dip - 1

Ingredients:


2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon salt -- or to taste

3 medium avocados

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 package taco seasoning mix

21 ounces prepared bean dip

1 cup green onions -- chopped

3 medium tomatoes -- seeded and chopped

7 ounces black olives -- chopped

8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese -- grated

1 package tortilla chips
 

Preparation / Directions:


Peel, pit and mash avocados in medium bowl. Add lemon juice, salt and pepper. In separate bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and taco seasoning. To assemble, spread bean dip on a large, shallow platter. Top with avocado mixture followed by a layer of sour cream and taco mixture. Sprinkle with chopped onions, tomatoes, and olives.. Cover with shredded cheese.
