Bordeaux Cherry Coupe

Ingredients:


16 ounces canned bing cherries -- drained

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 dash ground cinnamon

1 cup red Bordeaux wine
 

Preparation / Directions:


In saucepan, combine cherries, sugar, cinnamon, and Bordeaux wine. Bring to boil. Simmer gently for 5 minutes. Chill. Serve in sherbet glasses. Recipe Source: THE ART OF FRENCH COOKING by Fernande Garvin
