Preparation / Directions:In small, heavy saucepan, combine sugar and water.
Bring to boil and continue boiling for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from fire.
When syrup is lukewarm, add lemon juice and rum.
Pour over "Savarin" (recipe included in this database).
