Ingredients:


1 pint clams

2 cups sifted flour

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 large egg -- beaten

1 cup milk -- (about)
 

Preparation / Directions:


Remove soft part from clams, mince hard parts and combine. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Combine egg and clams and add to flour with enough milk to make a thick batter. Drop by teaspoons into hot deep fat (360'F,) or saute until brow
