Preparation / Directions:Combine in heavy pan. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Continue to cook until a little dropped in cold water forms a soft ball. Remove from heat, add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until thick and creamy. Put in a shallow pan.
