Cream Cheese Fudge 1

Ingredients:


4 pieces squares unsweetened chocolate (1 oz.)

2 packages cream cheese (3 oz.) -- softened

4 cups sifted powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

16 pieces pecan halves
 

Preparation / Directions:


Place chocolate in top of double boiler; bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook until chocolate melts. Combine cream cheese and sugar; beat until smooth. Add chocolate and vanilla, heating well. Stir in chopped pecans. Press mixture into a lightly greased 8 inch square pan. Chill until firm, and cut into squares. Top each square with a pecan half. Store in refrigerator.
