Ingredients:


3 cups onion

1/4 cup olive oil

1/4 cup parsley

1/4 cup garlic

1/2 pound italian sausage

1 pound ground round

32 ounces tomato sauce

1 cup water

1 cup dry white wine

1/2 cup red burgundy

2 pieces tree ears

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary

1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
 

Preparation / Directions:


heat oil in a dutch oven, over a medium flame add onions and saute until transparent add garlic and parsley heat and stir for 2 minutes add italian sausage and ground beef heat and stir until well browned remove from heat and drain well add remaining ingredients and place over a medium flame bring to a boil, reduce flame to low, cover, and simmer for 3 hours, stirring often skim well serve hot
