Southwestern Tri Tip Marinade

Ingredients:


2 cups red wine

1 can beer

1 small red onion -- sliced

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/8 teaspoon ground cumin

6 medium fresh limes -- squeezed for the juice, up to 8

1/2 bunch fresh cilantro -- chopped
 

Preparation / Directions:


Mix all and marinade meat in this at least overnight and as long as up to 3 days. Works great for fajitas. Can use a little of the lime rind too if desired. For more heat add 2-3 seeded and chopped jalapenos.
