Troy's Grilled Tuna Sandwiches

Ingredients:


1/2 pound tuna

1/2 medium lime

1 teaspoon thyme -- dry

1 teaspoon dry cilantro

1 teaspoon california chile pepper-mild

2 teaspoons garlic

3 tablespoons oil
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat oil over medium heat. Slice tuna steaks until 1/4" thick. Put garlic in oil. Place tuna over garlic. Sprinkle pepper, cilantro and thyme over fillets. Brown one side then turn over. Put juice of lime over fillets and complete cooking. Serve as a sandwich with mayo and slices of avocado on top. Measurements are approximate.
