Banana Bonanza Ice Cream

Ingredients:


2 cups milk

2 cups whipping cream

2 large eggs -- beaten

1 1/4 cups sugar

2 medium bananas extra ripe and peeled

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
 

Preparation / Directions:


In saucepan, combine milk, cream, eggs, and sugar. Cook and stir over low heat until mixture thickens slightly and coats the back of a spoon. Cool to room temperature. Puree bananas in blender ( 1 cup). Combine cooled custard, bananas, vanilla, salt and nutmeg. Pour into freezer container. Freeze according to manufacturer's direction
