MACAROON ICE CREAM DELIGHT

Ingredients:


2 pounds Almond macaroons (fresh -- Moist, mound type)

1/2 gallon Natural vanilla ice -- Cream

3 ounces Bourbon
 

Preparation / Directions:


Delicious crunchy ice cream. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Crumble macaroons by hand onto 2 large cookie sheets. Bake in a 400 oven for 10 minutes until golden brown, tossing occasionally. Let cool. Melt ice cream to a semi-soft consistency. Place ice cream in a large bowl. Add macaroon crumbs and mix thoroughly. Add bourbon and mix thoroughly. Refreeze mixture immediately in two 1/2-gallon containers. Serve frozen.
