Nutty Coconut Ice Cream

Ingredients:


1 cup nuts -- almonds, pecans

1 tablespoon butter

4 large eggs

1 cup sugar

1 quart milk

1 tablespoon flour

1 can condensed milk

1/2 can cream coconut

2 teaspoons coconut flavor

1 1/2 cups coconut

1 pint whipping cream
 

Preparation / Directions:


Toast nuts in oven or on top of stove, turning often. Cool. Beat eggs, sugar, milk and flour in blender or food processor. Cook over medium heat until slight boil, or scald, stirring constantly. Take off heat, add rest of ingredients including nuts. Put in freezer and add milk up to filler line. Finish freezing according to freezer instructions. This ice cream is better when frozen hard.
