Grilled Bread With Duck Fat, Sea Salt And Apples

Ingredients:


1 loaf loaf crusty French bread

4 ounces duck fat (available at fancy butcher shops)

2 tablespoons sea salt - -- (to 3 tbspns)

1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary

2 medium macoun apples
 

Preparation / Directions:


Preheat grill or broiler. Cut bread into 1-inch thick slices and grill until dark golden brown. Smear each slice with 1 to 2 teaspoons duck fat. Sprinkle each slice with sea salt, then rosemary.
