James Darren's Pomodori Acciughe

Ingredients:


1/4 cup olive oil

1 can anchovies -- (2 ounces) drain

1 clove garlic minced

2 small red chili pepper -- chop

2/3 cup black olives -- chop

3 bunch leaves basil -- chop

3 tablespoons parsley -- mince

12 ounces marinara sauce

2 tablespoons capers -- drain

1 package penne pasta; cook -- drain
 

Preparation / Directions:


In olive oil sauté‚anchovies until dissolved; add garlic, chili pepper and olives. Sauté‚a few minutes. Add basil, parsley and marinara. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve over penne. Source: Live with Regis and Kathie Lee.
