Parmesan Prawns

Ingredients:


24 medium prawns -- uncooked

1 tablespoon salt

1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 cups fine bread crumbs

1 cup parmesan cheese

---dipping batter

2 tablespoons flour

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 teaspoon oil

1/2 cup water

1 large egg

1 dash salt
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Shell the prawns and butterfly them. Season with salt, Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice. 2. In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese. 3. Dip the seasoned prawns into the DIPPING BATTER and roll them in the breadcrumb/cheese mix. 4. Deep fat fry them at 350F for approximately 2 minutes until golden brown. DIPPING BATTER: Mix all ingredients together.
