Pasta With Green Beans And Mushrooms

Ingredients:


1 1/2 pounds green beans -- cleaned, 1 1/2 inch

1/2 pound mushrooms -- cleaned and sliced

1 medium Onion -- sliced

5 cloves garlic -- minced

1/2 cup red wine

32 ounces canned tomatoes -- crushed

2 teaspoons basil

1 teaspoon marjoram

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 pound pasta
 

Preparation / Directions:


Put wine in a large skillet or dutch oven. Add all veggies and herbs, let simmer, covered, for 10 to 15 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes. Let simmer 30 minutes or until you are ready for it. Cook pasta in unsalted, unoiled water. Combine and serve.
