Peaches In Primitivo Syrup

Ingredients:


1 whole clove

2 cups sugar

2 cups primitivo di gioia (a dry red wine from puglia)

4 medium peaches

1 package biscotti -- for serving
 

Preparation / Directions:


In a medium saucepan, combine clove, sugar and red wine and heat until sugar is dissolved, about 10 minutes. Cool and keep covered. Peel and slice peaches and divide among 4 wine glasses.
