Pesto Sauce

Ingredients:


2 cups fresh basil -- firmly packed

1 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/2 cup parmesan cheese

4 cloves garlic

1/4 cup pine nuts -- or almonds, pinon

1 dash salt -- optional
 

Preparation / Directions:


Place basil in a blender. Blender speed should be in liquify or high. While the blender is on, slowly add oil until basil and oil are well emulsified. Add remaining ingredients and process.
